Nicholas Holman Photography, LLC operates PixMentor. This policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
1. Information We Collect
We collect your email address, photos and embedded camera metadata you submit for analysis, critique results, coaching preferences, conversation history, saved shot plans, and usage data. If you request forecast context, the shoot location and date are sent to our weather provider.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use this information to authenticate your account, analyze photographs through OpenAI, personalize coaching, show progress, maintain private history, and manage your subscription tier. We do not use your photos to train our own models.
3. Third-Party Services
We use Supabase for authentication and storage, Stripe for web payments, Apple and RevenueCat for iOS subscriptions, OpenAI for AI coaching, Vercel for hosting, and Open-Meteo for optional location-based forecast and sunrise/sunset context. Each provider processes only the information needed to deliver its service under its own privacy terms.
4. Data Retention and Control
Saved critiques and photographs remain in private storage until you delete an individual critique, delete all history from Progress & Practice, or delete your account from Account & Privacy. Account deletion removes your authentication identity and associated profile, conversations, plans, critiques, and private photos, except information we must retain for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or transaction-record obligations. Image links are short-lived signed URLs. GPS metadata is not extracted or retained.
5. Cookies
We use authentication cookies to keep you logged in. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

7. Security
We use encrypted connections, secure authentication, and row-level database security. No transmission method is 100% secure.

We may update this policy at any time and will notify you of significant changes by email or in-app notice.
